Given the uncertainty of the situation, increasing travel restrictions and World Health Organization advisories, we have decided to move the date of the Users’ Meeting to 13-14 October 2020. This has been done to best preserve the health and safety of our customers, employees and the residents of Palma de Mallorca.
The main themes of the upcoming Users’ Meeting in Palma de Mallorca are the new features of the latest software versions and the introduction of the latest addition to CADMATIC portfolio — the Electrical & Automation module.
You are invited to take part in workshops and detailed software presentations regarding the new features and future development plans. The Users’ Meeting is a great opportunity to attend customer presentations to learn more about how CADMATIC is used in other organizations. It is also ideal for networking with CADMATIC users or employees in workshops and during the informal evening programme.
The cost of participating in the event is € 595 excluding VAT. This includes attendance to the meeting, presentations and workshops, handouts and other materials, coffee breaks, participation in the get-together party and a dinner.
We invite all engineers, application managers and members of management to visit the upcoming Users' Meeting to learn how to benefit more from our software.
The User's Meeting program is full of presentations and masterclasses. Even though the final program and speakers will be defined in the upcoming weeks, we can already say that we have left several slots for companies to share the results of their work, their industry visions, insights, and best practices. The language of the presentation is English.
If you are interested in sharing valuable information with CADMATIC customers and want to arrange a company presentation during the event, please contact Ludmila Seppälä, Director of Marketing at CADMATIC, no later than 20 April 2020.
We will be presenting the latest addition to CADMATIC, the new Electrical and Automation module for engineering and 3D Electrical design needs at the Users' Meeting.
CADMATIC Electrical is a comprehensive solution for the different design and documentation needs of electrical and automation engineering: industrial electrical and automation engineering, instrumentation, layout design of switchboard, the design of distribution networks, and project electrification.
The city of Palma de Mallorca or simply Palma is the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands on the East coast of Spain. Palma's history dates back to the Christian reconquest of the island, to the Moors, Romans and Talayotic people before that. Palma has a virtually endless array of magnificent bars, restaurants, art galleries and more. Of course, the astonishing natural beauty of the island deserves a separate mention. You can discover the incredible sceneries of the coast and the interior of the island can be discovered by hiking, boat, car, or bicycle.
The weather in Palma is very comfortable in May: the average temperature varies between 14°C at night and 23 °C during the day with just three rainy days per month. Even though the average sea temperature is a bit chilly, 18,9 °C, some people already start swimming in May.
Probably the easiest way to get to Palma is by plane. Palma Airport or Palma de Mallorca Airport is located 8km east of Palma Majorca. Also known as Son Sant Joan Airport, it is the third largest airport in Spain, so it has quite a big number of connections. Once you are in Palma, you can get from the airport to the hotel by bus, which operates between 6:00 am and 1:00 am, by taxi or services similar to Uber, like Taxilo. Finally, you can find good car rental options or arrange a shuttle offered by a hotel or multiple companies.
Alternatively, you can get to Palma by boat. There are approximately 79 ferries between Mallorca and other destinations every week, so you might decide to enjoy a voyage from the nearest mainland big cities such as Barcelona or Valencia.
